Your Team
At Roosevelt, you benefit from having your own team of top, interdisciplinary specialists in neurosurgery, oncology, neuro-oncology and radiation oncology––supported by an equally specialized nursing staff in neurosurgery, anesthesiology and other disciplines. Together, we analyze and prepare a treatment plan for you that takes into account your unique medical history and current situation, as well as our deep experience with tumors like yours. In the process, we work with your referring and primary physicians to understand all we can about you.
We also meet with you to learn what we can’t from all the films and records and tests. What are
your hobbies and interests? For some, it’s being able to have a family, others singing in the choir.
What is most important to you, once you leave our care? We design protocols with your answers
and other lifestyle needs in mind.
To do our best to preserve your quality of life during and after treatment, we offer the most
advanced medicine, including a breakthrough approach designed to map areas of your brain to
specific body functions. So we pinpoint the tumor every way possible and reduce potential side
effects as much as possible.
But we also know that this isn’t just about the science. Part of our job is to offer the comfort of
knowing what to expect every step of the way––and walking along side you during your particular
journey. Some of us have lost loved ones to cancer, others have celebrated personal victories
over it. So, we strive to be there for you not just as professionals, but also as people. You are our
mission.
This combination of advanced medical care and personal attention sets us apart.
